I Released My First Song ‘Quantum Liberation,’ an ocean-inspired soundtrack from my Upcoming Feature Film That You Need to Hear

2024 marked a proud and defining moment in my creative journey: I released my first-ever song publicly — Quantum Liberation, the theme soundtrack for my upcoming debut feature film Voto (Voice of the Ocean).

After months of holding the sound close, Quantum Liberation was now out in the world — not just as a theme track, but as the sonic heartbeat of my debut feature film Voto (Voice of the Ocean).

The film itself has faced setbacks, challenges, and pauses along the way, but those obstacles did not stop me. Instead, they fueled my determination to keep moving forward. Out of that persistence came this release — a piece of the film’s soul unveiled early, offering listeners a chance to hear the movie before they see it.

What is Quantum Liberation?

At its core, Quantum Liberation is about freeing oneself from inner conditioning — the survival-mode instincts, inherited doubts, fears, and generational curses that weigh us down. It’s about rising to a higher plane of frequency.

The track is inspired by the same vibrations of the ocean, which I’ve spent years researching and listening to as part of the film’s development. The ocean, in its depth and rhythm, offers not only history and knowledge but also healing. With mindful breathing and presence, these sonic frequencies can calm the soul and expand awareness.

From Ocean to Live Performance

Exactly one week into the release, I had the privilege of performing Quantum Liberation live for the very first time at the Resurgence: Rise from Doubt event. Sharing the soundtrack of my upcoming debut film with a live audience was a powerful experience for me.

The peaceful, ocean-inspired sounds resonated deeply with those present, adding to the already Zen atmosphere at Zpatio. The track, which is designed to uplift and create a sense of calm, perfectly aligned with the event’s mission of mindfulness and social impact.

Hearing music online is one thing. Experiencing it live — outside, surrounded by people all breathing and reflecting together — was something else entirely. It affirmed what I’ve always believed: art can be more than expression; it can be vibration, healing, and transformation.

I felt close to what artists and musicians feel when they perform their work for an audience. This moment lives rent-free in my mind because it took what feels like a piece of my soul — a pure place of my expression — and exposed it. I won’t lie, it was nerve-racking. I kept thinking, this is how artists feel when they release their work into the world? Massive respect to anyone who makes music, plays instruments, or performs live.

It’s entirely different from filmmaking. Sure, we get that thrill when someone sits and experiences your vision on screen, but creating music live? That vibe, that energy… it’s something else entirely.

I want to give a heartfelt thank you to Shalizar, whose openness made it possible for me to share Quantum Liberation at the event. Beyond that, I want to big her up for the inspiring work she’s doing for her community through Zahr Wellness, creating spaces rooted in mindfulness, self-love, and holistic health. Please check out her work here: zahrwellness.com, and follow her journey on Instagram @zahrwellness and @shalizahr.

As a socially-conscious filmmaker, I see my work as having the potential to create long-lasting impact. That’s why I consider Quantum Liberation more than just a film score. It’s a social impact vibration. Through this soundtrack and film, I aim to raise awareness of higher frequencies, support spaces in need of mindfulness, and inspire communities to engage with deeper purpose.

Special thanks as well to Jason Williams, for your encourgement along the music making journey, and commitment to soulful impact.

The Visualizer: A Glimpse of the Film

To give audiences a first look at how sound and image come together, I also released an official visualizer using a clip from Voto. It pairs the music with moving imagery from the film, bridging the gap between hearing and seeing.

The ocean isn’t just backdrop in Voto — it is a character, a frequency, and a teacher. By blending its imagery with the track, the visualizer hints at the kind of cinematic journey the film is shaping into.

More Than Just a Track

Quantum Liberation is a reminder. A meditation. A call to breathe and release. For me, it represents courage — the courage to silence doubt, to stay on this path, and to trust the process of both filmmaking and self-liberation.

The numbers on its release may be modest, but every listen counts. Every live performance, every replay online, adds to the vibration.

This track is a seed for what Voto will become: a film that guides us toward mindful living, higher conversations about the environment, and the breaking of cycles that no longer serve us.

Dive into the vibration. Let the frequencies of Quantum Liberation carry you. The ocean has always had something to say — this is just one way of listening.
